Installation:

Step 1. Installing the Software

009 software comes on CD-Rom. Insert the CD-Rom and simply drag the 009 folder into the Applications folder on your hard disc.

Step 2. Installing the Dongle

You will also see a file 'Dongle Installer' on the 009 CD-Rom. Double Click the installer and follow the on screen instructions. In some cases you will need to enter your password. After the installer is finished, you can insert your USB dongle to any available USB port and the red LED should light up. If it does not, restart your computer. If the dongle was already inserted when you ran the Dongle Installer, you will need to remove it, then re-insert it.

That's it. You have now installed the software and the Dongle.

The first time you run the 009 software on a given CPU, you will be asked to enter the security PIN 1 user code, which you will find on the credit card accompanying the dongle. This PIN number is required in order to make stealing your dongle less attractive to a would-be thief, since it cannot be used without your PIN code to register it to a new machine. Consequently, you should store your PIN card in a safe place, where you can easily find it when moving machines, but do not reveal your PIN numbers to other people.
