Menus

Save As Text Paths - this takes the selected recordings from the recordings window, and creates a text file, which contains the full system pathname to those files. This is useful to pass to a programmer to access the files, or to import into an application like SampleSearch which can read paths from a file as a list of files to import.

Send Files to SampleSearch - this will communicate with SampleSearch, if it is running on the same machine (OS9 only), and will add the selected files into the SampleSearch list.

Record / Stop / Pause / Delete - as per the transport buttons detailed earlier.

Link To File / Set record path- as per the buttons detailed earlier.

Scan Left / Right in file - move to the next / previous lines in the script. Same as the left right arrow buttons in the window.

Monitor- OS9 Only. On same audio devices this will toggle play-through of audio.

Script - Toggles between Scripted and non Scripted modes.

Rename Takes - Operates on selected file(s) in the recordings window. Allows manual renaming of the files in sequence.

Delete Takes From Disk - Removes the files from the list and the files from disk. Use with care.

Search Script - This allows you to enter some text to search for in your script. It is a useful way to navigate around large scripts. The current recording line will be updated to point to the line where the match was found. You can opt to search forward from the current position, or from the start of the script.
