| System Requirements:
QuickTime 6.1 LibraryLoader may work, in some cases, with QuickTime 6.0, however MP4 AAC is not available prior to QuickTime 6.1 and this option should not be used. Versions earlier than QuickTime 6.1 are not supported by Gallery. Mac OS X 10.2.4 or later. LibraryLoader will work, in some cases, with Mac OS X 10.2 to 10.2.3, however it may not operate properly with some CD-Rom drives, and systems earlier than 10.2.4 are not supported by Gallery. USB Port The USB port is required for the dongle. For best results, use a built-in USB port, although USB ports from PCI expansion cards will also generally work well. Apple Built in CD or DVD drive (reader or writer). LibraryLoader has been designed to work with your built-in Apple CD/DVD drive. When ripping CDs, you should ensure that there is only one drive in use (ie. eject CDs from any other CD or DVD drives you may have connected). LibraryLoader looks for the first mounted CD when ripping, and hence multiple CDs will cause confusions. LibraryLoader will generally also work well with external CDRom drives, for example via Firewire or SCSI. However, Gallery are unable to guarantee compatibility with non-Apple drives. Before you start, you MUST turn off any kind of automatic system action when CD's are inserted. Go to System Preferences -> CDs & DVDs and make sure it is set to 'IGNORE' when a music CD is inserted. Otherwise, iTunes may start up and interfere with the operation of LibraryLoader. Needless to say, you should NOT run iTunes or any similar app whilst LibraryLoader is in operation ©2003 Gallery |
