MASTER VIDEO PLAYBACK SYSTEM

VirtualVTR has other characteristics which make it a perfect choice for your master Video playback system on Film and TV mix stages. Amongst its unique capabilites is the ability to simply control VirtualVTR from multiple seats at a large multi-person mixing console, such as the 4xProTools/Icon system shown below. In this example each Icon's transport and jog/shuttle wheel controls VirtualVTR, with transport commands from the various mixers being merged into VirtualVTR. This offers exceptionally flexible *Distributed Transport* allowing any user to control picture, and to start and stop the entire stage playback from his/her seat. This type of setup has been sucessfully in use at Icon and D-Control stages at a major Burbank facility for several years. For best results you should use the CB P2MMC timecode interface as the central generator.
